Program Description

Event Details

Join Chelsea of Bluebird Yoga to practice Physiyoga, a gentle form of yoga that incorporates mindfulness and some physical therapy-inspired exercises and neuroscience. We will stretch our tight spots and then bring some gentle flowing movement and strengthening into our practice. You will leave feeling taller and lighter, mentally and physically! Bring your own props if you like them. This yoga class will meet at Mystic River Park for gentle yoga by the Mystic River. Registration is appreciated for a headcount!

Instructor Bio
Chelsea Hauck, aka Bluebird Yoga, is a local from Stonington. Yoga, for Chelsea, is about fostering healing through kindness. The goal in her classes is to hold the space for her fellow yogis to cultivate kindness on and off the mat. Chelsea encourages students to take time to feel the pose and make adjustments or modifications as they need. She understands the importance of safe movement and leads students through a practice that builds from gentler modifications through more difficult variations as they increase strength and flexibility.
