Author Jane Griffith discusses her book about her friendship with a disabled Vietnamese woman during the war and how
these two mothers, 50 years later, wish for a peaceful future for their daughters.
JANE BARTON GRIFFITH was the codirector of Quaker humanitarian projects during the Vietnam War and chief restoration officer for the US Treasury and Justice Department buildings and consultant to the White House.
Jane has written several books--two cookbooks, Shibori, a Japanese textile technique, and two books published in Vietnam. Jane lives in New London, CT in a ship captain's house.
