Join us for this interactive paranormal investigation conducted by "the Haunted Collector" John Zaffis and Seaside Shadows haunted history tour guides to help support the Library's annual fund. You can register for one of two sessions: either 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM or 9:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Tickets are $75 each.
An Evening with the Haunted Collector and Seaside Shadows at Mystic & Noank Library
A historic library donated by a Sea Captain, opened by his sister just after his death and right before hers? Connected to the prominent Spicer family of shipbuilding fame who had a long history of tragedy, the library is said to hold the spirits of the Spicers and other historic Mystic sea captains and families. Shadows, figures and a lady in black have all been reported. The resident cats seem to get along well with them though!
Join John Zaffis, the Godfather of the Paranormal and Haunted Collector himself as he joins Courtney McInvale, author, historian and owner of Seaside Shadows and Seaside Shadows guides at this exclusive fundraiser for the Mystic& Noank Library. Guests will choose one of two time-slots and start the evening with a Q&A with John, Courtney and the crew and then will receive a short presentation on the history of Mystic & Noank Library, its ghostly sightings, and how we like to investigate historic sites. For the remainder of the evening, guests will join John, Courtney and Seaside on an interactive ghost hunt/investigation of the library to see which specters wander the bookshelves, balconies and basement.
