Bio:
Chef Anthony Caporale is one of the most recognized and popular educators in the beverage industry, uniquely combining degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science with decades of restaurant management experience and an entertainment background that includes over 600 Off-Broadway performances. An award-winning mixology author, speaker, and consultant specializing in the history and science of alcoholic beverages, Chef Anthony runs beverage training programs for some of the world's largest companies such as PepsiCo, Bacardi, and Angostura. Perhaps best known as the creator and star of "The Imbible" series of long-running musicals about the history of cocktails and spirits, he has also been featured in dozens of TV and video series, written countless articles, and given two "Talks at Google." Chef Anthony has been the Director of Spirits Education and Beverage Research at New York's award-winning Institute of Culinary Education for over a decade, and authored the cocktail chapter of their groundbreaking cookbook, "Recipes for Innovation." Last fall, he presented the keynote address on creating successful zero-ABV recipes at the Institute of Food Technologists annual dinner, and he will be featured on Bar Convent Brooklyn's “Hacking Non-Alcoholic Cocktails” panel in June.
