Take a sensory journey into the rich and enchanting world of tea with Frank Kwei. Participants will sample teas from around the world, learn the history of the tea plant, Camellia sinensis, explore the cultures surrounding tea, and discover the tastes and aromas of the major categories of teas; white, green, oolongs, and black teas. We will also learn the important distinctions between teas and herbal infusions and learn about their health benefits as it relates to today’s health conscious community.
Frank currently serves as the Special Projects Liaison and Tea Expert at Grace Farms Foundation, located in New Canaan, CT. He is a 25+ year veteran of the tea industry and owned a boutique tea company in Brooklyn, NY. The son of a diplomat, his early life was spent across three continents, attending early education in S.Korea and S.Africa. He also spent a decade exploring the underwater caves of northern Florida. Frank now lives in Wilton, Connecticut with his wife, two daughters, and their beloved Westie Bari White.
