Ponzi and pyramid schemes cost Americans billions of dollars annually. Learn why they work (hint: trust plays a role) and how to avoid them.

 

Presented by William Keep, PhD

For more than twenty years, William Keep has been recognized as an expert on illegal pyramid schemes, assisting state and federal prosecutors and writing extensively on the subject. A native of Michigan, he served in the United States Coast Guard before earning a bachelor’s degree in social science and economics and a PhD in marketing from Michigan State University. Now retired, he and his wife Susan live in Mystic.
