Event Details
Join Chef Anthony Caporale for a deep-dive into the fascinating world of coffee! We'll explore the origins of this magical bean, follow its centuries-long journey to today's major coffee producing regions, and examine how the coffee crop is harvested and processed. We'll look at how roasting shapes the bean's flavor, review common roast levels, and even roast our own batch of beans! Finally, Anthony will show you how to master the sometimes intimidating French Press, and then he'll demonstrate how to pull a perfect espresso shot using an original La Pavoni lever press machine! If you love to enjoy a good cup of joe as you're curled up with your library books, you won't want to miss this masterclass on the world's most celebrated bean!
