Event Details
Join Thomas Readett and Samantha White for a classical music concert works by Ravel, Elizondo and Uebayashi.
This concert explores different pieces in which unlikely inspirations come together to create something new and beautiful. Like ice cream to French fries or peanut butter to burgers, each of these composers took seemingly incompatible ideas and brought them together to form something completely new. Through Ravel’s well-known violin and cello duo, to emerging composer, Jose Elizondo’s Danzas Latinoamericanas, and finally the virtuosic Suite by Yuko Uebayashi, this program highlights the inspirational outcomes that can come from bringing diverse and sometimes opposite ideas together.
