An Evening with Pulitzer Prize Winner Richard Russo
Please save the date for a very special literary event featuring Pulitzer Prize winning author Richard Russo. He will be in conversation with Rick Koster of The Day for his new book, Somebody's Fool. This ticketed event is part of our 2023 Annual Fundraiser to benefit the Mystic & Noank Library, and will kindly be hosted by Snediker Yacht Restoration.
Richard Russo is the author of nine novels, most recently Chances Are..., Everybody’s Fool and That Old Cape Magic; two collections of stories; and the memoir Elsewhere. In 2002 he received the Pulitzer Prize for Empire Falls, which, like Nobody’s Fool, was adapted into a multiple-award-winning miniseries; in 2017, he received France’s Grand Prix de Littérature Américaine. Somebody’s Fool, the third book in North Bath series, is due out on July 25. He lives in Portland, Maine.
Tickets for the event are $100 and include drinks and hors d'oeuvres. If you or your company would like to sponsor this event, all sponsorship include tickets to the event. The reception will run from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM and the conversation with Richard Russo will follow from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Snediker Yacht Restoration is located at 35 Campground Road in Old Mystic, CT.
