Mystic Community "Jellyfish" Boat Build
Workshop presented by New London Community Boatworks and Wade Smith of Craft School Mill Hollow Works.
The build will take place over the weekend on the grounds of the Mystic & Noank Library. The program is free and open to the public for all the participants ages starting at 11- 18, youth must build with a parent or guardian. Space is limited, and registration is required. Participants must attend both days. Each team will consist of at least one adult (18+) and at least one student (age 11-18). However, when registering, please register the adult and include an email. The library will contact you to complete the registration process.
Mystic Community "Jellyfish" Boat Build offers a unique boat building opportunity for Adult/Child partners. Designed for teams/partnerships, each team builds one Jellyfish style wooden boat, that they get to keep. Teams must include at least one kid between eleven & eighteen, and one adult (18 plus). More helpers of any age are welcomed (within reason). This workshop consists of two, 6 hour sessions which takes place on a Saturday and Sunday.
This program is free and includes all materials for one jellyfish boat.
